Bread Matters
Although still busy dealing with residents’ issues over the summer, Council is officially in recess until September and therefore I haven’t had much council business to report for a while.
However I have been baking and I was very proud to win first prize and the Bowerman cup for “Best Loaf of Bread” at the Leigh Summer Show.

I thoroughly recommend a visit next year if you haven’t been before. The highlight is the competition tent where you can see a fabulous display of vegetables, home produce and arts and crafts. If you fancy entering something of your own there are plenty of categories to choose from!
